I began writing the Sugar Maple Romance Series years ago. I never imagined I’d fall in love with the town and characters along the way!

Writing about the fictional town of Sugar Maple, Tennessee makes me want to visit. Especially in the autumn or around the holidays. I love nature and the seasons and that often bleeds into my writing.

For example, when I’m driving down the familiar rural Tennessee roads of my youth with craggy rock choked with clinging greenery on one side and a creek bubbling along the other side or when I pass a field of freshly baled hay with trees blanketing the rising hills in the distance, it feels like I’ve entered the world of Sugar Maple.

I write in a variety of genres. Mystery, Middle Grade, Poetry, and more, but Sugar Maple feels like home and I keep returning to it. I hope you do to!
